Located 350m offshore of Doha's West Bay Lagoon area, The Pearl is a manmade island, covering 4,000,000 m² of reclaimed land. It is one of the largest real estate projects in the State of Qatar. The island was constructed by dredging and filling the area to an elevation of approximately 3m above sea level.
The project is a 4 phased mixed-use development, where luxury, recreation and a thriving community coexist. It features Mediterranean-style yacht-lined marinas, with residential towers, villas, and hotels, as well as luxurious retail and dining facilities with pedestrian-friendly squares and plazas along with its wide range of landscaped gardens.
It consists of housing precincts, 20 to 40-story residential towers, villas, townhouses, retail and restaurant spaces, and community facilities including schools, mosques, retail shopping areas, and community/ entertainment centers.
DG Jones and Partners were involved in the island development and various projects namely: Fanar Fayrouz, Abraj Quartier, Porto Arabia, Viva Bahriya, VVIP villas, Qanat Quartier, Giardino Village, etc.
