Situated 15 km north of Doha, this 80,000-seat Lusail Iconic Stadium is the biggest stadium in Qatar designed specifically to host the final stages of the 2022 FIFA World Cup held in Qatar. Its shape resembles the maze-like decorative patterns notably distinctive to Arab and Islamic art pieces and every detail of its planning highlights human needs and environmental conservation.

The Lusail Iconic Stadium is one of eight stadiums that were converted for the World Cup. Like the other stadiums planned for the 2022 World Cup, the Lusail Stadium will be cooled using solar power and have a zero-carbon footprint.

Once the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is over, the Lusail Stadium will be transformed into a multi-purpose community hub, including schools, shops, cafés, sporting facilities, and health clinics. During the conversion, most of the stadium's seats will be removed and donated to sporting projects.
