Extension
The aim of the project was the expansion of the Container Terminal in order to double its capacity from 700,000 TEU to 1,400,000 TEU. The works included the provision of a new 200,000m2 Container Terminal and the extension of Quay 16 by 500m, 16.5m draft. Works involved Dredging, Piling, Fill consolidation, and Dynamic compaction along with other associated works.
DGJ’s primary mission was Client support in all matters that had contractual implications (be it cost or time-related) and claim avoidance.
