Job Description
  • Conducting field survey for right of way, design, delineate project boundary, topographic surveys, triangulation network, and network levelling and processing data for project deliverables.
  • Record the results of surveying and verify the accuracy of data.
  • Performing survey using latest digital survey equipment including Total Stations, GPS, Digital Level, etc.,
  • Perform quality control and quality verification of survey data.
  • Work according to Qatar Survey Manual.
  • Ability to manage and schedule survey projects.
  • Using latest computer technologies and CAD /Civil 3D Software is necessary.

Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Survey / Geotechnical /Civil Engineering or equivalent from accredited university.
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Three (3) years of experience in survey in the field of infrastructure (roads, drainage) projects,
  • At least Two (2) years’ experience in Qatar or in Middle East region.
  • Skillset on AutoCAD 2010 & above is mandatory
  • Able to have skills to work on Microsoft Software Products.

QAT-Assistant Surveyor

QAT-Commercial Manager

Job Description

  • Ensuring the client’s commercial position is properly considered in all client and project management decision making
  • Leading the identification and implementation of procurement strategies
  • Maintaining a clear picture of cost in accordance with standard framework, by ensuring monthly cost reports fully and accurately reflects all contracts let, change, risks, opportunities and variation orders and reporting to senior client level
  • Providing the client / project manager with a comprehensive picture of budget, commitment and payment at all times
  • Providing the foundations for driving performance of consultant’s, contractors and the supply chain generally
  • Maintaining positive supply chain behaviour by payment applications dealt with comprehensively with clarity and within contract timescales
  • Identification of actions by client / project manager which potentially undermine the client’s commercial position under the contract or are detrimental to delivery within agreed time, cost and quality parameters
  • Resourcing against the needs of the programme, capability and fit.

QAT-Contracts Administrator

Job Description
  • Collaborate with the Client's Finance and Contracts/Procurement Managers to prepare the Project Budget, including consultants' fees, construction costs, contingencies, and miscellaneous expenses.
  • Receive estimates from Consultants and monitor the Project Budget throughout the design and construction stages.
  • Ensure Consultants exercise proper cost control during all stages of design and construction.
  • Monitor and oversee value engineering initiatives and ensure their implementation in the design process.
  • Supervise the pre-qualification process for Consultants and Contractors.
  • Review and participate in the preparation of enquiry documents for fee competition (tenders) or design competitions in collaboration with the Design Section.
  • Attend meetings with Consultants during all stages of design.
  • Review staff CVs, conduct interviews, and ensure compliance with the Consultancy Agreement requirements
  • Attend site progress meetings, excluding purely technical meetings.
  • Initiate and coordinate all correspondence related to the responsibilities mentioned above with Consultants.
  • Monitor and ensure Consultants implement and maintain an effective claims management system. Identify any flaws and take necessary action in a timely manner.
  • Participate in Consultants' performance evaluations and contribute to relevant performance evaluation reports.
  • Review and provide comments on Pre-qualification Reports prepared by Consultants.
  • Review Consultants' tender clarifications and ensure compliance with requirements/standards/procedures.
  • Review all Tender Addenda prepared by Consultants in coordination with the Design Section.
  • Review Consultants' Tender Evaluation/Analysis reports.
  • Review and provide comments on tender opening results, validity of Tender Bonds, qualifications, exclusions, and compliance with tender conditions.
  • Review and/or prepare Consultancy Services Agreements.
  • Supervise the preparation of Contract Documentation.
  • Arrange for the signing and execution of all Contracts/Agreements.
  • Manage the payment process to consultants through the Client's Finance Department.
  • Manage the review process for payments to contractors, direct sub-contractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor and review valuation of variations and ensure timely completion of Final Accounts and Project Close-Outs.
  • Monitor and review cash flow forecasts regularly and inform the Client's Finance Department accordingly.
  • Prepare reports and attend meetings to provide explanations and clarifications in response to queries raised by Internal/External Auditors regarding the mentioned duties.


Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of overall work experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental role within the construction/infrastructure industry.
  • Be familiar with the HSE requirements of local legislation, international best practice and standards. Must have ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 background.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience involving large-scale residential developments, commercial office buildings, resort and business hotels, entertainment and retail complexes, marine facilities, highways, ports, aviation and/or infrastructure improvements among similar facilities. 
  • Ability and willingness to live and travel throughout the Middle East and Central/Eastern Africa.
