Situated to the northeast of Manama, the Diyar Al Muharraq development is an ambitious project consisting of seven artificial islands, covering a total area of 12 square kilometers, out of which 10 square kilometers are made up of reclaimed land. The scope of the project is comprehensive, encompassing land reclamation and the construction of rock revetments, creating beaches, and developing various types of housing including social housing, affordable homes, and luxury villas. Additionally, the project includes the development of serviced apartments and both primary and secondary infrastructure. Upon its completion, Diyar Al Muharraq is set to feature over 40 kilometers of waterfront property, adorned with sandy beaches. This ambitious development will host an extensive range of critical components, from state-of-the-art educational facilities and schools to medical centers, recreational areas, sports and entertainment venues, community centers, traditional souqs, shopping malls, vast green parklands, hotels, and marinas, making it a comprehensive ecosystem.
