We are proud to announce the completion of the CMA-CGM Headquarters building in Beirut, which was severely damaged by the Port’s explosion on 4 August 2020.
Following this catastrophic event, the Saade family insistently decided to rebuild their Headquarters and inaugurate it on 4 August 2021.
Such request seemed impossible at the time, in light of the continuous outbreak of Covid 19, the imposed lockdowns, the scarcity of labor, the closure of several international ports, the economic crisis, the political crisis, the financial crisis, the capital control, the devaluation of the local currency and more.
Notwithstanding all hurdles, we accepted the challenge, rolled up our sleeves, and successfully managed and steered the project to successful and timely completion.
The exemplary efforts, dedication, and unwavering commitment of the staff who worked on the Project, namely Walid Karam and Khaled Chahla were second to none and very much commended. This is another great achievement for the DGJ-Lebanon office in the midst of this global turmoil.
