Sama Beirut stands as an emblematic skyscraper located in the heart of Beirut, Lebanon. This remarkable structure occupies a 5,220 m2 plot of land. Architecturally notable, its facade is adorned with a fully glazed unitized curtain wall, giving it a sleek and modern appearance. With an impressive height spanning 52 stories, the Sama Beirut building offers a diverse range of spaces for various purposes. The ground floor is primarily designated for retail outlets, while the numerous levels above house both commercial and residential units. The building's base covers an area of 1,050 m², and is strategically placed at the center of the land parcel. Surrounding this central structure, the remaining expanses of the plot have been thoughtfully designed to incorporate landscaping elements and soothing water features.

Furthermore, this development is not just limited to the above-ground structure. It also features 6 subterranean levels that have been purposefully developed to accommodate car parking spaces, technical rooms, and various other utility spaces and amenities. One of the standout features of the building is its sustainable design approach. Constructed with a solid reinforced concrete frame, the exterior is entirely enveloped by a glazed unitized curtain wall system, allowing for natural light penetration and offering panoramic views of the city. The overall built-up area of this monumental project sums up to 80,000 m2.

Overseeing the entire project, DG Jones and Partners demonstrated commendable management skills. Despite confronting design challenges and unexpected delays, they successfully brought the vision to life, ensuring all aspects were executed within the stipulated budget.
