CYP-SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Description
  • Participate in negotiations with clients prior to drawing contracts.
  • Give advice on construction cost planning to clients, engineers involved in the project, and public authorities.
  • Determine methods, and procedures for establishing and reestablishing survey control.
  • Prepare, with the assistance of the Quantity Surveyor, tender documents, bills of quantities, specifications, general conditions, and forms of construction contract of all kinds.
  • Co-ordinate with Engineers throughout the Establishments and other staff on the project.
  • Prepare construction progress schedules and submit them to the Project Manager.
  • Setting up operating cost control systems.
  • Evaluate changes and finalize construction accounts.
  • Inform Project Manager of any non-recoverable elements.
  • Keep accurate notes and records to certify work performed.
  • Ensure that any contract warranty requirements are incorporated into relevant subcontract documents.
  • Conduct arbitration in contract disputes and act as an expert witness.
  • Ensure adherence to all stated policies and procedures throughout the project stages.
  • Ensure effective and efficient utilization of resources in the Unit.
  • Submit reports and other deliverables to the Project Manager.
  • Perform any other duty as requested by the Project Manager.

Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineer with RICS.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills.


CYP-IT MANAGER

Job Description

The IT Manager at DGJones and Partners will be responsible for the comprehensive management and optimization of the company's ICT infrastructure. This role includes overseeing the functionality and integration of Microsoft 365 (with SharePoint and Teams), Oracle Cloud ERP for financial and HR modules, and managing networking and telephony systems. The IT Manager will also play a pivotal role in the company's strategic transformation into an AI-enabled organization. This includes ensuring the ICT infrastructure supports new AI initiatives, managing software licenses, enforcing corporate data management and data retention policies, and upholding data security standards.

Responsibilities:

ICT Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Teams.
  • Manage Oracle Cloud ERP for financial and HR modules, ensuring seamless operation and integration.
  • Supervise and maintain the networking and inter-branch network setup.
  • Ensure the overall security, reliability, and performance of the ICT infrastructure.

Software License and Compliance Management:

  • Manage software licenses, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and optimizing license usage.
  • Ensure that all software and systems are properly licensed and up to date.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all software and hardware assets.

Data Management and Security:

  • Develop and enforce corporate data management and data retention policies.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across all systems.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the company’s data and systems.

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the ICT team, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
  • Allocate resources effectively across different offices and ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Act as the second line of contact for any ICT-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.

Project Management:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee ICT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their ICT needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure that ICT projects align with the company's strategic goals and AI transformation objectives.

AI and Technology Transformation:

  • Play a key role in the company’s transformation into an AI-enabled organization.

  • Stay updated with the latest AI and ICT trends and technologies and recommend improvements and innovations.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with ICT vendors and service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide updates on ICT initiatives and performance

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant ICT policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Regularly review and update ICT policies and procedures to reflect best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 7-12 years of experience in ICT management, with a proven track record of managing complex ICT infrastructures.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Teams.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP for financial and HR modules.
  • Strong knowledge of networking and inter-branch WAN.
  • Experience with AI technologies and their implementation is highly desirable.

CYP -ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (with accounting background)

Job Description
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office records.
  • Assist in basic accounting functions such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, and data entry.
  • Maintain and organize financial documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
