Located on the coastline of the Gulf of Aqaba on the Red Sea, the Saraya Aqaba Resort combines the charm of an old Arab city and the modern refinement of a world-class resort. It is a multi-use tourism and leisure development, spreading over 634,000m2 of land, built around a manmade lagoon that adds approximately 1.5km of beachfront to the city of Aqaba.

The Saraya Aqaba projects features an exquisite mix of hospitality, residential, business, leisure, and entertainment facilities. It includes 4 luxurious Five-stars hotels with more than 1,000 guest rooms, mixed-use buildings (comprising 437 retail shops & 63 offices), 63 villas, 92 townhouses, 611 residential apartments, a conference center (capacity of 2,000 guests, and a built-up area of 8,356 m2), staff accommodation, world-class themed water park, sports area, old souk (with a built-up area of 26,000m2), beach club with an open-air amphitheater (seating capacity of 800 people), infrastructure, marina, and other facilities.

DG Jones and Partners is the cost consultant on this project, providing cost and quality reporting to the client and actively managing risks and proactively resolving issues. DG Jones is assisting the Client in taking major decisions through active collaboration with all related parties by initiating several value engineering ideas leading to considerable savings while preserving the project's quality standards and design intent. Furthermore, DG Jones is collaborating with the Employer in running the project successfully by consistently reporting the facts through cost reports, maintaining the Project on the right track serving the Employer’s business model.
