GRE- SENIOR COST ESTIMATOR /CIVIL ENGINEER

Job Description

As a Senior Cost Estimatior, you will take a leading role in shaping the financial planning and feasibility of key projects within our consultancy. Transitioning from site-based operations to strategic project planning, you will apply your technical and commercial acumen to deliver precise cost estimates that support competitive bids and informed client decisions.

This role bridges engineering and consultancy, offering opportunities for growth in a collaborative, insights-driven environment focused on quality, precision, and value engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detailed Cost Estimation:Lead the preparation of accurate and comprehensive cost estimates by reviewing project drawings, technical specifications, and supplier/subcontractor quotations.
  • Tender and Bid Analysis (RFPs/RFQs):Evaluate Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents to determine scope, constraints, and key financial considerations.
  • Labour Cost Evaluation: Analyse historical data and current labour rates to calculate project-specific labour costs, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with design, procurement, planning, and commercial teams to consolidate project inputs and develop unified cost strategies.
  • Supplier & Subcontractor Management: Liaise with external suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations for specialised materials and services, verifying compliance with project specifications.
  • Value Engineering & Optimisation: Identify cost-saving opportunities through design alternatives, construction methods, or material substitutions, without compromising quality or compliance.
  • Cost Benchmarking & Database Maintenance: Maintain internal databases for labour, material, and equipment rates to support consistency and speed in future estimates.

 


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in cost estimation within infrastructure or construction consultancy
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation tools, market pricing, and procurement procedures
  • Proficiency in software such as CostX, Candy, or similar estimation tools
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills

GRE-ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize calendars, appointments, and meetings
  • Handle travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, itineraries)
  • Manage email correspondence and prioritize communication
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external contacts
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and calendar management tools
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and professional
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Prior experience working with executives or in a dynamic business environment

  • Multilingual is a plus
