The New Doha Zoo project, also known as Doha Safari Park, is adjacent to the Aspire Park, covering a total area of 72ha to be developed. The project's scope of work involves the expansion of the current zoo located at Al Fouruziya Street, Doha, Qatar.
As part of the New Doha Zoo project, residences for caretakers and a veterinary clinic will be developed. Facilities will include three specific hotels for three designated theme areas, the Africa Safari Zone, an Asian Woodland Area, and a South American Rainforest. It also features a unique land bridge that allows the animals to roam to the adjacent Aspire Park, an educational and conservation discovery center, as well as multiple entertainment facilities, and food and beverage outlets.
The park will also include a drive-thru safari experience into an African Savanna, Asian Montane, and Grassland habitats as well as a South American Rainforest. Guests can also walk through the African, Asian, and South American forests, as well as take a boat ride through the replicated “cenotes” of Central America.
