The Mall of Dilmunia is conceptualized to be a spacious family destination, bringing all the members together and allowing them to connect and share a joyous experience. The vision for this development is to establish an exclusive family destination that caters to all age groups. While adults enjoy rooftop cafes, and delicious food and beverage outlets, kids and teenagers access the various recreational and educational entertainment facilities.
Overlooking the Dilmunia grand canal and landscaped gardens complimented by greenery within the project, the Mall of Dilmunia consists of a total built-up area of around 125,000 m2 divided into 47,000 m2 leasable area, 47,000 m2 public/ circulation area, and 31,000 m2 parking area.  The main familial entertainment centers include a spectacular 3-story high cylindrical aquarium with aquatic life visible from all levels. The key attractions of the Mall of Dilmunia are the following: 

  • Main Atrium: consisting of 750 areas for events 
  • Aquarium: the biggest cylindrical aquarium in Bahrain, 17m high. 
  • Play Area: consists of a 2,200 m2 kid’s entertainment area. 
  • Adventure area: to cater to the biggest indoor climbing wall of 16m high. 
  • Sports area: includes two indoor mini football pitches. 
  • Ice rink: state-of-the-art large indoor ice rink, 27x27m, located on the first floor. 
  • Open-air sky terrace with a breathtaking view of the island of Muharraq
  • Boulevard shopping area: adds urbanity to the retail experience by giving the illusion of its outdoor within a vibrant European cityscape, thus redefining the shopping experience. It includes the biggest LED screen fixed on the ceiling in GCC 70m x 9m. 
DG Jones and Partners was appointed as the cost consultant since the project conception and provided cost and project management consultancy during the construction phase. DG Jones and Partners is also providing fit-out construction management as well as facilities management services to the project.
