Joseph Psaroulla has been with D G Jones & Partners since 1980. He has worked in the UAE, Istanbul, Cyprus, Kuwait and France but is now based in Lebanon. In 1998 he has been appointed as General Manager for the Lebanon Offices. In 2004 he became a Board Director of the ME D G Jones & Partners. Joseph Psaroulla has an unequalled knowledge in the Lebanese Construction and Property Market and has been responsible for many landmark projects and specializes in Project Management, Construction Management and Contract Administration.
As of 2014, Joseph Psaroulla became the Chairman of the firm after the retirement of G. A. Younis.
Elia Kfoury joined the firm in 1986. He has worked in the Middle East offices in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Cyprus, Turkey, Bahrain and U.A.E. He has wide experience in all pre-contract works for large projects. In 1989 he was transferred to Istanbul as Assistant Manager leading and coordinating a team of 6 site-based quantity surveyors on the refurbishment of a large Palace and conversion to a luxury Hotel. In 1993, Elia Kfoury returned to Beirut and took charge of all pre-contract work, assisted the office manager in administration, contractual and commercial negotiations and introduced and supervised the firm's Quality Assurance program. He is now the Dubai General Manager responsible to the Resident Director for the efficient day to day running of all pre-contract and post-contract work. Part of his duties is to give professional advice to the Engineering department at the Dubai Aluminum Smelter (DUBAL). He has good experience in computer software and hardware.
As of 2014, Elia Kfoury became the CEO of the firm.
Sami Younis joined the firm in 1977. Graduated in 1982 from Portsmouth University – UK, worked for the Beirut Office till end 1984, managed D G Jones & Partners Paris Office from January 1985 to May 1996.
His experience in France covered various aspects such as developing the firms' interests in Western Europe. Experience was gained mainly in the field of Architecture and Interior Decoration working closely with the various design teams providing Quantity Surveying Services to the Royal Family in KSA, also on various Audio visual, Industrial and Petrochemical projects, and namely Leuna 2000 in Germany with Technip Engineering, also providing Petrochemical Claims for TOTAL Petroleum, and assisting Elf Acquitaine in Nigeria on contractual matters.
Director for Claims Department as of 1996 responsible for the preparation of Claims in the Middle East for large size projects.
Asaad Younis has over 14 years of Construction experience having joined D G Jones & Partners in 2001. Since then he transitioned to a senior quantity surveyor, and onwards to his current position as a Director of the Dubai Office involved in overseeing numerous pre and post contract developments. He has worked in a number of the Middle East offices including the Lebanon, and U.A.E. Offices.
He has extensive education in the field of Construction having received his Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Quantity Surveying from Salford University in the UK, a Master of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from the University of Florida, and is in the final stage of PhD award (Civil Engineering and Construction Management) with a specialization in International Construction Contracts.
In recent years he has worked as a Senior financial and contractual Auditor on a number of very large infrastructure and industrial Governmental Projects with project values in excess of 7 Billion AED. In addition to his prerequisite Director activities, he maintains his role as Middle East Regional Auditor for the Company overseeing all ISO 9001:2008 new office implementations, alongside supporting the pre-existing systems already in place.
Ian Bisgrove has been with D G Jones & Partners since 1998 and was appointed General Manager of our Qatar office in 2004. Ian Bisgrove has extensive quantity surveying experience in Europe, the Middle and Far East. Having been in Qatar during a period of rapid expansion, Ian Bisgrove has an excellent insight into this important market.
Director with D G Jones & Partners, Abu Dhabi, Matthew Hollingworth has over 18 years’ experience in construction, the last 8 of them in the UAE. He was appointed as the Office Manager in June 2011 and brings with him extensive experience of procurement and pre-contract activities together with detailed knowledge of Post Contract Administration and Contract, on both the Contractor and Client side.
Having predominately worked for regional / national / international contracting companies for 10 years, on a wide range of projects including residential, educational, leisure, commercial, industrial, refurbishment, civil with values ranging from £1M to £60M. Extensive knowledge of procurement and administration of both Traditional and Design & Build Projects.
Michel Salem has first joined D G Jones and Partners in March 1983. He has served in various areas of the Middle East, Australia and South-East Asia including Lebanon, Abu Dhabi-U.A.E., Australia, Fiji Islands, Cairo, Jordan and Qatar. Michel holds qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Economics and Arbitration, and is a professional member of various highly recognized institutes. Beside his vast experience in Quantity Surveying, Tender Documentation and Project management, Michel Salem has extensive experience in Contract Administration, Claims Management and ADR services.
In March 2014, Michel Salem has been appointed in DGJ Head Office as Director for Contracts.
